A two-storey public car park with approximately 550 parking spaces, located on HaRakevet Street in central Tel Aviv-Yafo.
The Beit Hadar car park was built in the late 1990s on historic land that had previously served the Tel Aviv railway station, the old customs house and the associated operational areas, along the route of the Jaffa–Jerusalem line. After the station closed in 1970 and railway activity moved to the south of the city, the public site remained largely empty and served for years as a dirt car park and logistics area.
As the Begin Road and HaRakevet Street area developed into an urban office and transport hub, a significant shortage of parking spaces was identified. In response to this need, and led by architect Dani Kaiser, a two-storey public car park was designed at ground level and on an upper level, on a site of approximately 7,000 sq m. The car park operates as a central urban facility and serves thousands of users who arrive each day to the heart of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.
